Hopping Down the Bunny Trail

The Easter Bunny paid us a visit when we were in Boston too.
Playing with all of the loot.
Looking at some of the goodies within the eggs.
More playing.
Taking a quick milk break.

We also did an Easter egg hunt. Uncle John showed Ryan the ropes and explained that if you stick a whole Easter egg in your mouth, you can spit it out. Ryan was terrified by this and promptly ran away.
Ryan is also an "eat everything as I go" kind of kid. He ate every goldfish and cracker he found - even after we put it all in a bowl.
Happily chomping away during the longest egg hunt ever.

A Visit to Boston

We went to visit Uncle John, Hannah, Zoe and Andrew for Easter and had a great time. It was wonderful to see everyone.

It's important to start your day off with a good cup of coffee. (Ryan kept telling us it was water and looked at us like we were idiots when we called it coffee, but he loved his little espresso cup.)
Enjoying every last sip.
We went to Richardson's to visit the cows and get some ice cream. Some of us were less than impressed with the stinky cows.
The calves sleep in these little warm igloos.
Everyone got all dressed up for church on Easter Sunday. Ryan all dressed up in Andrew's stylish hand me downs. :)
The two boys looking very GQ. Ryan would NOT put a tie on no matter how many times or ways we tried.
The whole gang. :)
And the outtake.
We had a great time playing with Andrew's Geotrax set.
Building lots of loops.
Playing at the park on a funky teeter totter.
The weighting was slightly off...
Walking on the weird structure.
All in all it was a great trip and we really enjoyed seeing everyone.

Choo Choo!!

It all started so simply. We had a theme for Ryan's big boy room and then suddenly it exploded to every little boy's dream room.

Here is Ryan trying out the train for the first time. He liked to turn the dial so the train would speed around the track. (This led me to have complete fear that we would be putting a projectile around the top of his room that would eventually crash out his window. Marc assures me this won't happen...)
The building process - Marc and Grandpa spent a long time working on the design and construction of the train shelf.
And success! We now have our very own electric train which goes around the top of Ryan's room. It makes authentic train noises too.

Another angle.
The train conductor is quite excited about his new train. Everytime he comes into his room he yells out, "Choo! Choo!"

A video of the train in action.
I have to give Marc a lot of credit - he worked really hard on this and I think it really turned out well.

Kindersports and Creative Play

We signed Ryan up for a couple of classes the other day with our town recreation program and he loves them! He is in Kindersports and Creative Play.

Here he is playing with the scoop.
He was so excited to play the hula hoop game and thought it was fun to stand in the hoop with this little girl.
Simon Says was a little advanced but he liked it.
And a video of him running. That was his absolute favourite part. (He is the one in orange and also the one who is screaming with delight.)

Latest Belly Shots

31 weeks (I think)
Growing bigger and bigger everyday!
And someone else wanted in on the action.

Hide and Go Seek

Ryan was playing hide and go seek the other day. Here he is counting.

Hiding behind the chair.
Trying another spot.
He will have to work on his ability to blend in with his surroundings...
